Niwasi Application is a community tool for residents that makes collective action easy for them.
Key modules of the Niwasi Application are: Resident Sabha module, Resident Sabha date announcement, auto-generated Resident Sabha, giving agenda, agenda prioritising, voting on the proposal, resident's collective decisions and resident's decision tracking, resident-driven urgent Resident Sabha, and a historical catalogue of agenda, Resident Sabha, and decisions taken at Resident Sabha.

PARTNER extension of Niwasi.in helps NGOs, CBOs and other service providers exchange information with residents and community. It makes it easy to identify target beneficiaries, track interventions, and measure return on societal investment.
Project impacts and the status of development goals get shared with the beneficiaries, residents, community, donors and other stakeholders — making it possible to get early feedback and inputs from them.

Easy to use — partner.niwasi.in
NGO admin of partner.niwasi.in gets access to basic functionalities on signup from day 1.
Report collection tool for the partner NGO.
Field staff collect reports using this tool. (i) Any new report form can be developed in a few days. (ii) This report is shareable at all levels of the organisation and (iii) also with residents / beneficiaries / other stakeholders — without much coding work.

The software technology
The software is being developed on PHP, Laravel framework and React. Other key IT components are MySQL for database, HTML and CSS.
The app prototype is first built on Adobe XD / PPT / MS Word. This helps all team members give comments before actual coding.

- 2This is converted into a prototype on XD, which gets converted into the web version of the software.

Concept team
Studied civil engineering (B.Tech.) at IIT Mumbai. 20 years of experience working on projects with direct or indirect intervention in communities.
Engineering in Electronics and Communication with 12 years of development work (Triline).
MBA from INSEAD. Consults for development organisations like UN bodies, the World Bank, Pratham and others.
Need assessment & grassroot test team
Masters in social science with 5 years of grassroot implementation and process drafting experience.
Long experience of field execution; implemented the Niwasi Sabha concept on the ground over a long period.

About Sunai Consultancy Pvt. Ltd.
Sunai Consultancy is registered as a private limited company in Patna, Bihar (India).
